THEATRE OF FOOD IS BACK – BIG FLAVOURS, BOLD IDEAS AND A WHOLE LOT OF TASTE.
Get ready to eat your heart out as Theatre of Food is back and hotter than ever. A delectable lineup of chefs, food writers, mixologists, brewers, cultural voices, and straight-up deliciousness. Nestled in the heart of the festival grounds, this vibrant space is more than just a place to eat; it’s a celebration of Ireland’s culinary creativity and community spirit.
Across the weekend, expect a sizzling mix of live cook-offs, tasting sessions, and thought-provoking conversations. Expect everything from Janet’s Dumpling Party and Oysters agus Ól with Dublin Cocktail Lab, to deep dives with the Science of Taste. You’ll hear from beloved names like Ivan Varian, Jonathan McCrea, Dungarvan Brewery, Mick Kelly, founder of GIY (Grow It Yourself), and Shilpa Kiran, each bringing unique flavours and perspectives to the table.
The Kitchen Press
Find the party in the kitchen. Hosted by Ali Dunworth and special guests across the weekend, this hub will blend food, drinks, and spontaneous stories. The Kitchen Press at All Together Now is a gathering place and a spot to refuel. Come for a sit-down, stay for the craic. Drinks will be made, stories will be told. Delve into the wide world of food and drink culture through passionate and knowledgeable guests and unexpected topics. Expect audience interaction, not your typical cooking demos – think interactive tastings, off-the-cuff chats, and more.
Highlights Include:
Sip a cold one and polish your Gaeilge at Craft Beer & Cúpla Focal with Dungarvan Brewery or pull up a front-row seat as James Kavanagh and William Murray discuss their country move for The Simpler Life – live and unscripted. Shilpa Kiran dishes up spice in Chats and Chaat, while chats get heated in Frying Pan or Fire: Hot Takes with Corinna Hardgrave, Paul Flynn, Eric Matthews, Marcus O’Laoire & Dee Laffan.
Budding gourmands roll up their sleeves with Let’s Roll: Little Sushi Makers with Ken Konmatsu, while Cooking Up Change: From Gambia to Galway with Jennie Moran, Conor Spacey, Jactina Dalton, and Daniel Callen explores global kitchens and local impact.
Join Mick Kelly, founder of GIY (Grow It Yourself), and GIY’s Head Grower Richard Mee for a down-to-earth chat about their regenerative farm just steps from the festival estate. From muddy mishaps to veggie victories, they’ll share the wild ride of turning soil into something truly special. For something a little stronger, join The Centre Cut Podcast LIVE for an unfiltered tasting of Whiskey and Poitín served with real talk and deep pours.
