In a bold step to transform shareholder engagement and modernise investor services across Nigeria’s capital market, Coronation Registrars, a subsidiary of Coronation Group Limited, has rolled out ShareholderLive.
This first digital self-service platform gives shareholders real-time visibility and control over their investments. Shareholders can view their holdings, transaction history, performance valuation, and portfolio growth at a glance through a real-time dashboard.
As Nigeria’s capital market continues its digital transformation, tools like ShareholderLive are reshaping the way investors engage with ease, confidence, and clarity.
With its intuitive interface and powerful functionalities, ShareholderLive is poised to become the go-to solution for both retail and institutional shareholders seeking smarter, more transparent ways to manage their equity portfolios.
At the heart of the platform are several groundbreaking features that simplify and elevate the investor experience.

The app also enables digital voting at Annual General Meetings, ensuring inclusive participation regardless of location. For those requiring formal documentation, ShareholderLive allows users to generate professional statements suitable for visa applications, financial planning, or third-party reviews. Additionally, shareholders can now manage updates such as bank details, share transfers, and mandates securely, eliminating the need for queues and paperwork.
According to Seyi Owoturo, Managing Director of Coronation Registrars, the vision behind ShareholderLive is to reposition the investor as a decision-maker in the financial ecosystem.
“The capital market must evolve to meet the expectations of today’s investor, who is mobile, data-driven, and demands convenience. ShareholderLive is our answer to that evolution. We built it not as a support tool, but as a fully-fledged interface for shareholder empowerment,” Owoturo said.
In the coming days, the platform will introduce additional features designed to create compounding value and broaden market access. Shareholders will soon be able to opt into Dividend Reinvestment Plans (DRIPs) directly through the app, turning passive income into long-term value. Furthermore, through integrations with linked brokers, users will be able to initiate buy and sell orders for listed equities directly from their accounts, simplifying execution and creating a unified investment hub.
Beyond its current capabilities, the platform is also gearing up for future enhancements, including an AI-powered assistant to resolve user queries and a personalised investment insights feed to guide action with market context. All features have been developed in compliance with SEC regulations and global data protection standards.
ShareholderLive is now available across web and mobile platforms and is fully integrated with Coronation’s existing registrar services.
