Why September is the Right Time to Begin Your Journey at the Irish School of Reflexology

At the Irish School of Reflexology, we are very proud to be one of the most successful Reflexology schools in Ireland — not just because of our growing community of graduates, but because of our unwavering commitment to a single path: we specialise exclusively in teaching Reflexology.

In a world where therapies are often blended and taught as part of broader holistic programs, we have chosen a different approach. We believe Reflexology is a deeply powerful, stand-alone therapy that deserves to be taught with depth, care, and full attention. That’s why it is all we teach. We do not dilute it with other modalities, and we don’t offer multiple therapies under one umbrella. Our purpose is singular — to preserve and pass on the art and science of Reflexology in its truest form.

This focused approach has allowed us to develop a comprehensive and respected Diploma in Practitioner Reflexology (NNRI, National Register of Reflexologists of Ireland Accredited course)— a course that not only teaches technique but also builds confidence, experience, connection, and true healing presence in our students.

As the seasons shift, September often brings with it a renewed sense of clarity and readiness — a time when many begin to reflect on their deeper calling. If you’ve been feeling drawn to something meaningful, healing, and heart-led, this may be the perfect time to take your first step.

The Irish School of Reflexology is launching a new term of its Practitioner’s Diploma in Traditional Foot Reflexology on the 13th and 14th of September 2025, hosted at Jackson’s Hotel, Ballybofey. This is a part-time course, running one weekend per month from September to August. Enrolment is now open at www.isrw.ie

Tatiana Grosso Lawless, Principal of the Irish School of Reflexology

The course is fully accredited by the National Register of Reflexologists Ireland (NRRI), and upon completion, graduates will receive a recognised diploma that enables them to register professionally and gain insurance provider recognition from VHI, Laya Healthcare, and Aviva. Many go on to open their own practices, while others work in healthcare settings, wellness clinics, spas, or hospices.

Reflexology is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that uses pressure points on the feet to stimulate the body’s own healing response. Students are trained in the original Eunice Ingham method, with a focus on practical, hands-on learning.

The syllabus includes:

Core reflexology skills and advanced techniques
Maternity and infertility reflexology
An introduction to hand reflexology
Anatomy & physiology
Client care and communication
How to set up and grow a successful practice

If you feel a quiet knowing that Reflexology may be part of your path, we welcome you warmly.

The new term begins on the 13th and 14th of September 2025 at Jackson’s Hotel, Ballybofey. Enrolment is now open at www.irishschoolofreflexology.com

@irishschoolofreflexology When I first began my journey in Reflexology, I was given one powerful piece of advice… My teacher, Sr. Breaga, told me: “Never train in anything else but Reflexology — it is the best therapy.” That one sentence stayed with me — and it has shaped everything we do at the Irish School of Reflexology. We don’t mix therapies. We don’t dilute our focus. We specialise only in Reflexology — because this incredible healing method deserves full attention, depth, and care. It’s why we’re so proud to be one of Ireland’s most successful Reflexology schools — but even more proud of the heart and expertise we bring to every class, every student, every step of the way. Our Practitioner’s Diploma is designed to help you build confidence, hands-on experience, and a true healing presence. Enrollment is now open for our next courses in Dublin and Donegal. Donegal begins 13th & 14th September at Jackson’s Hotel, Ballybofey. If you’ve been looking for something meaningful — something rooted in healing — this might be your moment.
