The experts behind Frank Body, Frank Green, and Sheet Society have launched a new advisory service For Scale to help consumer brands increase their profitability.
Just don’t expect lessons ripped straight from the Frank Body playbook, says Jessica Hatzis, co-founder of the wildly popular skincare label and founding member of the advisory team.
“We want to fast-track founder learnings and help them avoid all of the mistakes that we made,” Hatzis told SmartCompany on Thursday.

But telling members “‘Hey, we did this once, let’s go roll out the same thing’, that just absolutely wouldn’t work”.
For Scale sees Hatzis team up with long-time business partner Bree Johnson, who serves as co-founder of Frank Body and the pair’s creative agency Willow & Blake.

Joining forces are Kate Howard and Emma Mulquiney, co-founders of strategy business Monday Digital and partners at Franjos Kitchen.
Howard and Mulquiney also served as head of digital and head of marketing, respectively, at linen brand Sheet Society and reusable water bottle titan Frank Green.
Willow & Blake director Dan Copsey and Agency Stack sales director Alex Robertson are also attached to the joint venture.
After spending the past year advising founders, Hatzis said it was the right time to bring that wealth of consumer brand talent under one roof.
Today’s ambitious founders need the “full spectrum” of business advice, covering everything from supply chain refinement to SEO tweaks and advice around capital raising, Hatzis continued.
For Scale promises a 12-month curriculum, designed for revenue-generating businesses, that covers the “less shiny, less sexy” business decisions necessary for further growth.
It will offer access through two paid tiers, with the For Scale team tailoring lessons depending on business turnover and their overall profile.

Members will also gain access to weekly calls and guest coaches from the worlds of finance, operations, retail, and international growth.
Hatzis highlighted in-person gatherings, designed to foster camaraderie among For Scale members.
“It’s nice for founders to have a community where they can talk openly and honestly about the challenges they’re facing,” said Hatzis.
“One of my favorite mottos, and one that I live my life by, is this idea that a rising tide lifts all boats,” she continued.
“I’m a huge believer in the power of collaboration, and even with brands that might feel somewhat competitive in nature, because we can all learn from each other.”
In a statement, Howard agreed that getting founders together is preferable to letting them slug it out solo.
COVID lockdowns mean many founders “lost the capability to share knowledge through osmosis in an office,” she said.
“We become siloed into our areas, with the single focus to just push volume out, regardless of its impact.”
“We want community to be a really big focus of this,” Hatzis added.
For Scale will launch its program in October.
