Nvidia has a history of discounting its graphics cards on Black Friday, so here’s what to expect from the 2025 shopping event

With gaming PC components still as expensive as ever, many players will be looking forward to Black Friday in the hope of snapping up a graphics card for less. After launching the new 50 series GPUs in the opening months of 2025, Nvidia has ridden the wave of AI advancements to offer a series of extremely capable PC components this year, albeit at some fairly eye-watering price tags.
With the top-end RTX 5090 retailing for a massive £1,889, it’s largely out of reach for your average consumer. While we’re unlikely to see that monstrous card become anything remotely affordable, the more modest cards like the RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 will no doubt see some welcome savings at several different retailers.
There’s also the older cards to think off too, with the RTX 40 series graphics cards still holding their own in a lot of modern gaming titles. What’s more, Nvidia has packed plenty of its GPU models into portable gaming laptops, which is something else that shoppers should keep an eye out for when perusing discounts.
I’ve rounded up everything you need to know about Nvidia this Black Friday 2025, including what to watch for and the best deals available right now. Find them all below:
When is Black Friday 2025?
Black Friday normally falls on the last Friday of November, around a month before Christmas. This gives retailers around four weeks to ship out their stock to shoppers in time for the festive period.
In 2025, Black Friday falls on November 28.

As mentioned, Nvidia currently offers a huge range of graphics cards with the RTX 50 series being its most modern cards. Reviews of the devices have been mixed, with testers praising the vast power that some of the cards possess, albeit with the huge price tag to match.
It’s worth noting that a lot of the performance gains from Nvidia’s latest graphics cards come from AI advancements, particularly in the form of Multi-Frame Generation (MFG) technology, which uses algorithms to essentially ‘guess’ frames and artificially inflate the frame rate of a game. While this does offer a smoother gameplay experience, it does also introduce input latency and visual artefacts, so it’s a bit of a trade-off rather than a silver bullet for PC performance.
Still, with plenty of modern games almost relying on these AI software implementations for stable performance, it does mean that I’d recommend going for an RTX 50 series card if you can. While they’re a little more pricey than older models, it does future proof your PC in a big way when it comes to AI software features.
That said, I would still consider going for an RTX 40 series card if you’re on a budget. Those cards still have access to DLSS 3.0, which allows for a more basic version of frame generation that can still massively help inflate video game frame rates.
Nvidia sells its cards directly from its own site, but it’s going to be third party retailers where the biggest savings are to be had. I’d keep an eye on sites like OverclockersUK, Amazon and Scan for the best discounts on standalone graphics cards as well as gaming laptops.
Does Nvidia offer other discounts?
Nvidia doesn’t offer any discounts on its own products at the moment, although some UK retailers like Currys will accept discount cards like Blue Light. The best way for NHS or other key workers eligible for the Blue Light Card to save money on Nvidia products is to purchase retailer gift cards using the discount and put those towards a purchase.
While discounts are generally rare from Nvidia, it does regularly include a free game with the valid purchase of some of its graphics cards. At the moment, that game is ARC Raiders, an extraction shooter from the same developer as The Finals.
All shoppers need to do to claim their free game is receive a code from their retailer of choice and redeem it in Nvidia’s app. Once redeemed, they’ll be given a new code for ARC Raiders to redeem and download on Steam.
What Nvidia deals can I shop now?

If I were to build a brand new gaming PC on a budget while trying to maximise performance, this RTX 5070 card is probably the one I’d buy. Coming in just under £500, this card from Nvidia strikes probably the best bang for your buck, especially when taking into account the AI frame generation features.
Expect this card to run modern games at 1440p at a constant 60fps, if not higher. The performance gains are even more impressive if connected to a 1080p monitor, making it a fantastic card for competitive games like Fortnite, Battlefield 6 and Counter Strike 2.

Normally retailing well over £1,000, Nvidia’s RTX 5080 is very much an enthusiast card by most standards – but there is a way to get it for under that £1k price mark if you go for a refurbished model. Scan has just that available at a tantalising 17% discount right now, making the powerful card that little bit more affordable for your average PC builder.
The 5080 is a beast of a card, capable of chewing through frames at 1440p resolutions and really being suited for 4K gaming. If you’re looking for a super powerful graphics card and don’t mind that it’s been used in a previous PC build, this is the one to go for.

For gamers who’d prefer their super powerful graphics card to be brand new out of the box, Scan also has the PNY model of the RTX 5080 on sale. It’s only got £30 knocked off the MSRP, but coming in at £80 south of £1,000 is still a bit of a steal for a card of this calibre.
Again, this card is absolutely going to chew through frames in both brand new and older PC titles. In testing, several owners of the RTX 5080 have reported seeing frame rates north of 300fps in Battlefield 6 at 1440p, while 4K frame rates are somewhere in the 90-120fps range without frame generation.

Stepping down slightly from the 5080, the RTX 5070 is still the best card in Nvidia’s line-up to buy if you’re on a budget. With 12GB of VRAM, it’s got more than enough bandwidth to run intensive games like Cyberpunk 2077 at high resolutions and high frame rates.
This MSI variant has two large fans to keep the unit cool, with the lower temperatures helping it to run at its fastest. There’s only a 2% saving on the card right now, but that saved tenner could be spent on other areas of your PC build.

Last up, we have an RTX 5070 TI from Palit with a huge £260 knocked off its MSRP. With an additional 4GB of VRAM on top of the MSI RTX 5070, it’s a card that’s much more suited to 4K gaming without quite scraping the prices of the RTX 5080 range.
CCL Online normally sells this card for £979.99, but it can currently be snapped up for a huge 27% off here.
