Typhoon Kalmaegi is heading for central Vietnam after leaving a trail of destruction in the Philippines.

The storm, which has killed at least 114 people and submerged entire towns in the Philippines, has strengthened in intensity.

Vietnam – already battling record rains and floods – is now bracing for one of Asia’s strongest typhoons this year.
