Lisa Riley has been sparking a demand amid I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here fans as her Emmerdale co-star spoke out about her jungle stint so far.
The actress, who is famed for playing Mandy Dingle in the ITV soap, was among the ten celebrities seen heading Down Under to take part in the Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly-fronted reality show earlier this month.
They have since been joined by two latecomers – presenter Vogue Williams and Celebs Go Dating star Tom Read Wilson – and the trials continue to come in thick and fast for a couple of the campmates – including Manchester’s very own Aitch and Angry Ginge, real names Harrison Armstrong and Morgan Burtwhistle.
But with the rapper and the YouTuber get much of the trial time, it’s been pointed out Lisa is the only star yet to take part in a Bushtucker Trial and despite having taken on Dingo Dollar challenges, I’m A Celeb viewers want to see more.
@sharonsstacey said: “I like both of them but can we stop rotating between Aitch and Ginge for every trial? I really wanna see Lisa do one #ImACeleb.” @superTV247 commented: “Lisa is still the only celeb not to do a Bushtucker trial come on, shake it up a bit !!! #ImACeleb.” @amccafferty04 wrote: “#ImACeleb Lisa needs her trial guys can we see anyone other than Ginge or Aitc.”
@Jess_hooperr shared: “Can the British public please make an agreement to vote Lisa for the next trial. Brilliant lady but she’s barely done anything so far trial wise! #ImACeleb.” @oshksw added: “I still can’t believe Lisa hasn’t done a trial yet can they fix this s**t NOW #ImACeleb.”

Meanwhile, Lisa’s Emmerdale co-star Bradley Johnson has been speaking about her stint in the jungle so far. The actor, who plays Lisa’s on-screen son Vinny Dinlge, appeared on Lorraine on Tuesday (November 24) and said: “She’s doing amazing and obviously Lisa plays Mandy Dingle, this larger-than-life character and it’s so nice for people to see the side of Lisa where she is so caring and so loveable.”
“She really is,” host Lorraine Kelly agreed, before she praised how candid she is when it comes to her appearance. “What you see is what you get. When she was getting her face shaved!” Lorraine laughed. “Usually these things are things that us ladies do behind closed doors on our own, but the very fact is she doesn’t care!”
Bradley replied: “She doesn’t care. Literally, first thing in the morning in the makeup chair in Emmerdale… she’s like, ‘Can you see my hairs on my chin? Is the camera seeing it?'”
Lorraine also went to speak about Lisa’s support for Jack Osbourne, with her being a shoulder to cry on for the star following the death of his father, Ozzy, earlier this year. “She’s formed a lot of friendships, particularly with Jack Osbourne and she’s certainly helped him a lot, I think. You can tell that she’s really looking after him,” Lorraine began.
Bradley responded: “Yeah, I think massively. Everything that Lisa’s been through with losing her mum and stuff, and the grief journey that she’s been on. And I think for Jack as well, it’s only been four months.
“She’s really been a support for him, helping him through that journey. I think the best medication, and Lisa always says it, is to talk about it, to be open. For her to be there for Jack is what is so needed. We saw him with Eddie [Kadi] having a cry and letting his feelings out. She’s definitely someone who can help him.”
