The CILT International Certificate in Logistics and Transport is a free-standing, UK Level 3 qualification, designed to provide a sound foundation for a career within the transport and supply chain fields and should provide potential supervisors and first-line managers with a complete set of management skills. It is recommended that those undertaking this programme have some prior knowledge of logistics and transport operations; ideally through their own work experience, or through previous CILT International study.
The course consists of two mandatory and one optional module. These are assessed through written examination. Most students complete their studies within a year.
