Love Island All Stars returns to ITV2 on January 12, but some familiar faces have reportedly been ‘banned’ from the new series
A brand new series of Love Island All Stars is poised to make its comeback on ITV screens imminently with a star-studded line-up.
Presenter Maya Jama will once more be welcoming back some recognisable contestants, all seeking a second opportunity at finding love. Fan favourite participants from throughout the programme’s ten year history will re enter the opulent villa in pursuit of that elusive connection, but will they find it?
Viewers can anticipate seeing well-known personalities as the third series returns to South Africa, and on this occasion it has been lengthened to a substantial six weeks rather than the customary five.
The hit programme will be back on ITV2 on Monday, January 12 at 9pm, with ITV keeping the precise line-up closely guarded.

A dramatic teaser was previously released as ITV hinted: “Even after so much Love Island drama, there’s still PLENTY of unfinished business. Love. Friendship. Bromance. Revenge? With All Star islanders returning to the villa, it’s time to tie up all these loose ends.
“So we’re asking the audience to crack who’s back. If you can connect the clues, you might be able to work out who’s got unfinished business. Maya’s ready to lead the charge. Let the guessing begin.”
However, whilst speculation over potential returnees continues, some viewers may be taken aback to discover that certain recognisable contestants have effectively been “banned” from the programme. Love Island producers have reportedly imposed restrictions on who is permitted to return to the villa in search of romance once more, reports OK!
Recent participants of Love Island Games have been barred from returning to the show, as a source confirmed to the media that producers don’t want audiences to experience “cast fatigue”. So, who could this potentially exclude?
Toby Aromolaran
Toby first appeared on Love Island in 2021(Image: ITV)
Toby made his first appearance on Love Island in 2021, where he and Chloe Burrows were runners-up. Despite their relationship continuing outside the villa, they parted ways after a year.
He also participated in All Stars in 2024 and two seasons of Love Island Games in 2023, as well as more recently in 2025.
Tyrique Hyde

Tyrique entered the Love Island villa in 2023 and managed to reach the final, finishing in third place.
He recently took part in Love Island Games, where he secured second place.
Lucinda Strafford

Lucinda first graced the Love Island villa in 2017 and later appeared on Love Island Australia, where she enjoyed more success.
The star also recently competed in Love Island Games, where she emerged as the champion.
Gabby Allen

Gabby was a contestant in the villa in 2017, where she finished fourth with Marcel Somerville, but the pair announced their split several months later.
She shared the series with Olivia Attwood and Chris Hughes. Gabby also returned to the villa during last year’s All Stars, where she was crowned the winner, as well as participating in the Love Island Games in 2025.
Casey O’Gorman
Casey O’Gorman is no stranger to the Love Island villa
Casey was in the villa in 2023 but didn’t find love.
He also made a comeback in the villa for All Stars seasons one and two, with the latter seeing him emerge as the winner alongside his then partner Gabby Allen. He recently reappeared on Love Island Games where he had a reunion with his ex, Gabby.
Love Island All Stars returns on Monday, January 12.
