Love Island All Stars series 3 returns January 12 with one star almost unrecognisable
A Love Island celebrity is barely recognisable eight years after his initial villa appearance, leaving fans “shook”.
The third series of Love Island All Stars is set to hit our screens in just a few days, returning to ITV2 and ITVX on Monday, 12 January at 9pm.
Maya Jama will once again take up the hosting mantle, welcoming back familiar faces from the past decade of the reality show, all seeking another shot at finding that elusive spark.
However, it won’t be plain sailing, with numerous bombshell obstacles as the brand new series returns bigger and better, extending over an impressive six weeks instead of the usual five.

Although they’ve kept quiet about this year’s cast, with just one week left, ITV announced today (5 January) the line-up for this year’s show, featuring some relatively recent returnees, reports OK!.
The official Love Island account shared the announcement on Instagram, revealing the familiar faces who are set to re-enter the luxury villa.
This year’s star-studded line-up includes this year’s Tommy Bradley, Belle Hassan from series 5, Helena Ford from series 12, and Millie Court from series 7, much to the delight of fans who said they “cannot wait”.
As anticipation builds, some viewers were quick to notice one star who looks almost unrecognisable from his Love Island days – Charlie Frederick, a series 4 islander.
One fan took to Instagram to express their surprise: “I cannot believe that is Charlie! [shocked emoji] Barely recognised him.”

Charlie Frederick, hailing from Plymouth, is amongst the personalities from the earlier Love Island series, as viewers may recall his appearance in the villa during 2018 alongside recognisable names such as Dani Dyer and Alex George.
He arrived on day eight of the programme and was coupled with Hayley Hughes before being eliminated from the island. Charlie also featured on Made in Chelsea as Sam Holmes’ best mate but will now be making his comeback to the famous villa.
Also announcing the news on Instagram, Unleashed Talent Management posted: “Excited for our client @charliefrederick_ to join the new series of @loveisland All Stars starting on 12th January on @itvxofficial @itv at 9pm.”
Insisting he has “unfinished business”, Charlie acknowledged people will “notice a massive difference” upon his return. He said: “There’s definitely a lot of personal growth that that happened – It’s been eight years since I went to Love Island, so people will notice a massive different.
“I’ve grown loads as a person and I’m more confident in who I am and I don’t care what people think. I’m a nice guy and I want the opportunity to show that.”
