Preparations are under way for the Lunar New Year celebrations, which take place in February.

One village in Hebei Province in north China is a hub for the manufacture of the traditional red lanterns to supply shops and restaurants, making 80% of the China’s lanterns for the festivities.

The BBC’s China Correspondent Stephen McDonell travelled to Tuntou to see how it’s done.
