Perfume lovers who want to stock up on luxurious Creed fragrances before Christmas, or those thinking about trying out the brand for the first time, will want to turn their attention to John Lewis. The department store has slashed the price of a scent set from the designer perfume house and the deal is too good to miss.

The Creed Women’s Classic Sample Inspiration Fragrance Gift Set, typically costs £45 but has been reduced by 15% in an early Black Friday sale, bringing the total down to £38.25. While this is already a pretty good deal, I’ve found a way to pick it up for less than £23 through TopCashback’s latest offer.

Alternatively, the Maison Margiela Replica Memory Box Perfume Set has been reduced by 20% at Sephora. Now available for £28.80 instead of £36, the set is composed of 10 of the brand’s most popular scents and is designed to ‘ evokes memories and emotions that echo the collective unconscious’.

Back at John Lewis, the Classic Sample Inspiration Gift Set boasts an overall star-rating of 4.6 out of five based on more than 60 reviews. One satisfied shopper said: “At a good price for Christmas or a birthday. Good samples before you buy the real thing which are a lot more expensive.”

A second wrote: “My husband and I have been using Creed perfume for over 30 years and this beautiful selection is a wonderful introduction for anyone to try some of Creeds most popular. One shopper, however, hailed the Classic Sample Inspiration Gift Set as ‘disappointing’ and gave it a two-star review. It reads: ” Unfortunately none of these scents worked for me. None smell anything like the male version of Creed, not even a hint which is what I was hoping for so very disappointing for me.

These are Eau De Parfum but the scent is short lived unlike the male version which you can smell all day long with just one squirt. However it does make a nice gift for Christmas or a birthday for those who do like the women’s version of Creed scents..”

But another loved their latest John Lewis purchase, adding: “Ordered these for a present for my sisters birthday, she loved them . They came in a nice presentation box and she loves all the fragrance samples – so nice to take out in a handbag rather than a big bottle.”
