Here is your guide to opening hours for Christmas Shopping in Cork

Several supermarkets and stores across Cork are extending their opening hours or staying open late into the evening to ensure shoppers have a chance to pick up their last-minute essentials ahead of Christmas.
Whether you haven’t started gift shopping or need to sort when you’ll do the big grocery shop, here are the opening hours for Cork stores this Christmas, including Dunnes, Smyths, Tesco, M&S, Aldi, Penneys and more:
Dunnes Stores
Dunnes Stores is keeping a number of their Cork shops open late into the night.
The posh Dunnes on Bandon Road and Douglas Court are open until midnight from Thursday to Sunday. They will be open until 2 am on Monday and Tuesday. And will close at 6 pm on Christmas Eve, before reopening on Saturday, 27.
The stores in Carrigaline and Ballincollig will be open until midnight on Monday and Tuesday.

Aldi
Aldi’s opening hours apply to all their stores across Ireland, and they will be staying open late until 11 pm on Monday and Tuesday.

Smyths Toys
Like every Christmas, Smyths stores will be open later in the run-up to the big day. Most toy stores will open until 10 pm, Monday through Friday, until December 23rd. Some stores, however, vary, including those in Cork.

Lidl
The Lidl opening hours apply to all stores in Ireland, with the latest closing time being 10 pm on two days.

Tesco
The Wilton, Douglas Village, Mahon Point and Ballincollig stores will open until midnight on Monday and Tuesday. They will also close at 7 pm on Christmas Eve, before reopening on St. Stephen’s Day from 10 am – 6 pm.
The Paul Street Tesco in Cork city will be open until 11 pm on both Monday and Tuesday, but will be closed on St. Stephen’s Day.

The popular shopping centre will be staying open late this Christmas with extended hours, but says that the hours may differ by store.

Marks and Spencer
M&S on Patrick’s Street will be open until 9 pm on Monday and Tuesday. They will close at 7 pm on Christmas Eve for two days and reopen on Saturday, 27 December.
The Douglas Village shopping centre store has slightly later hours and will be open until 10 pm on Monday and Tuesday, before also closing at 7 pm on Christmas Eve for two days.
English Market
The English Market will be open on Sunday and Monday, a rare occurrence that allows Christmas shoppers to pick up their last-minute essentials. Here are the opening times:
