Loose Women legend Coleen Nolan is heading to Leeds with her famous sons for a very different role. The 60-year-old star will be touring the UK this month with her new live show, This Is Me.

The intimate performance promises an evening of live music, storytelling, heartfelt moments, and lots of laughter, allowing audiences to get a closer look at the star. The tour kicks off in Leeds next week (Wednesday, February 18), making stops in places like Gateshead, Bury St Edmunds, and Manchester, before wrapping up in London on August 2.

Coleen made an appearance on ITV’s This Morning on Tuesday (February 10), where she chatted with hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard about her thrilling new project, which involves her two sons. Shane, Coleen’s eldest son, will host the event, while her other son, musician Jake Roche, takes on the roles of director and producer.

“It’s so different to my other tour that I did, which was a proper concert tour with a live band, musicians, singers – it was all a girls’ night out. This is more about [being] very intimate, audience participation, questions from the audience,” Coleen shared, reports the Express.

“My son [is] asking the questions, going through my life. We’ve got videos from the past with my sisters, and, obviously, up to date ones… With the [other tour], I had about 30-odd songs to learn, [and] I’m terrible at lyrics, so that took months. Whereas this one, I’m not shy of talking, am I?”

She continued: “The audience can ask questions, whatever they want – nothing is out of bounds.” Ben then queried: “And the boys are alright with mum sharing those kinds of things?”

Coleen responded: “The boys know everything. They know stuff that isn’t even true… One of the most popular things on my social media is when I do look backs of my sisters and I think it’s nostalgic for people, equally kids growing up, if they were fans.

“When I did the last tour, which was a proper performance tour, I wanted to do that because I thought if I’m asked when I can no longer do anything, ‘What’s your biggest regret?’ It would be that I never performed again because that’s what I grew up with and that’s what my passion was, and I don’t think you get adrenaline like it from live performance.”

The star elaborated: “I’m looking forward to this one because it’s different again, and I think people will have good time. And obviously there will be some music involved, because I’d like [audiences] at the end to have a good night, and not be bored listening to my voice.”

Coleen also touched on her upcoming stint on the new series of Celebs Go Dating, which will also feature rapper Professor Green, Love Island’s Gabby Allen, Celebrity Big Brother’s David Potts, MAFS Australia star Lucinda Light and former rugby player James Haskell.

Discussing how she secured a spot on the show, Coleen shared: “I phoned them! I watched the last series and saw Kerry [Katona] meet the love of her life and all of that, and I thought, ‘Do you know what? I haven’t got anyone right now. It looks like such fun,’ and I just phoned my agent.”

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV1 and ITVX at 12.30pm, while Celebs Go Dating will air on E4 later this year
