A warning has been issued surrounding popular squishy dumpling toys sold in Ireland.

The squishy dumpling toy has become a viral sensation worldwide but there has been duplicate versions popping up in shops in Ireland and online. While the original toy collection is sold by a company called RMS under its Crazy Fun brand, a huge demand has led to hundreds of different branded items being sold online.

As a result many stores across Ireland have stocked up on the off brand products. While the toys are similar, and just as collectable as the originals, there are some safety concerns attached to the copycat products.

The CCPC has issued a safety concern about one brand which was sold in Dalkey News. The Squishy Bun Rainbow Mystery One Set Sugar Edition is also sold online and could be stocked in other Irish stores.
