Fermor crashes over for the Titans
Lofi Khan-Pereira regathers off the short dropout and almost breaks through again.
Gold Coast reloads and spins it back to the left with Kieran Foran hitting Beau Fermor with a face ball, isolating little Ashton Ward, who can’t do anything to slow him down.

14′ Johnston saves the day for Souths
Titans speed demon Alofiana Khan Pereira breaks through on the left and grubbers back infield for Jayden Campbell and AJ Brimson.
Alex Johnston arrives from the other side of the field and is trapped in goal by Campbell.

Titans go over on the right off a very dubious pass
Jamie Humphreys is defending out at left centre and that’s where the Titans go, with Jayden Campbell holding up the defence before putting Jojo Fifita between Humphreys and Alex Johnston.
Fifita pokes his nose through and flings a pass out to Jaylan de Groot that looks very forward, but it’s allowed to go through.
Mitchell argues with Todd Smith after the try is awarded, which is of course fruitless.

7′ Campbell bombs a try as Latrell arrives at the last second!
On the back of a penalty, the ball comes right and Jayden Campbell scythes through just about untouched.
But he trots around under the posts very slowly and Latrell Mitchell arrives from behind like the shark in Jaws and slaps at Campbell’s arm as he goes to ground it, knocking the ball loose.
An all-time bombed try, but a great effort from Mitchell

MITCHELL TO JOHNSTON STRAIGHT AWAY
It’s try number 208 for Alex Johnston as he finds himself outside Latrell Mitchell, but you don’t need to be Trell to complete that one as the Rabbitohs got around the Titans way too easily on the left side.
Johnston is now four tries from equalling the all-time record.

1′ We’re underway in Robina
The Rabbitohs kick off and it finds the grass near the sideline, but Brian Kelly cleans up and gets over the 10m line.

Preston Campbell alongside Jayden Campbell on the Gold Coast
As the players come out for the smoking ceremony and Uncle John Graham’s Welcome to Country before this Indigenous Round game, Jayden Campbell is arm in arm with father and former Titan Preston Campbell.
It is simply iconic.
What a week to return for Latrell Mitchell, who makes a beeline for the Campbell’s after the Welcome to Country.

Roosters remain unbeaten in NRLW
The Roosters are still perfect to start the NRLW season, with their 24-8 win over the Titans taking them to 6-0, one game clear at the top ahead of the 5-1 Knights.
The Titans got on the board first through Pauline Piliae-Rasabale in Robina, but it was all Sydney from there as there scored five straight.
The foot came off the gas somewhat and a few errors crept into the game, before the Titans nabbed a consolation try through Phoenix-Raine Hippi with 10 minutes left.
The Broncos can jump into second place if they keep the Raiders winless in Canberra this afternoon.

LATE MAIL: Latrell is back as Titans lose Origin star
(NRL.com)
The Rabbitohs have welcomed back at least one of their stars, with Latrell Mitchell returning in the centres, meaning Tallis Duncan can shift back into his preferred position in the back row.
Brandon Smith is also back on the bench, but the line-up is still hilarious higgledy-piggledy.
Jersey wise, they’ve got 22 where 4 should be, 4 is at 11, 9 at 8, 14 at 9, and 8 at 13.
Meanwhile, Moeaki Fotuaika is ill so can’t play for the Titans, meaning Reagan Campbell-Gillard will start at prop and Tukimihia Simpkins joins the bench.

Dolphins and Roosters learn their fates from Saturday’ ‘carnage’
(Getty)
The NRL’s match review committee has handed down its verdict from the chaotic Dolphins-Roosters clash last night, and there’s a bit going on.
Eight charges have been laid against five players, with Rooster Spencer Leniu and Dolphins Kurt Donoghoe and Francis Molo each charged twice.
Donoghoe charged for a high shot on Billy Smith and shoulder charge on Leniu. Leniu charged for two bouts of contrary conduct on Aublix Tawha (somehow both deemed his second offence).Molo charged with contrary conduct and a high shot on Naufahu Whyte.
Tawha and Whyte have also been hit with contrary conduct charges for their part in a scrap, the second instigated by Leniu in a matter of minutes.
Most can accept fines, although Molo is facing a one- to two-match ban for a high shot and Donoghoe would be sidelined for two if he fought and lost for his shoulder charge.

Once again it was Leniu at the centre of it all, literally squaring up like a boxer in the face of rookie Tawha while the rest of his team celebrated a try.
NSW Origin veteran Ryan Hoffman has urged the former Panther to ditch the “brain explosions” from his game.
“You’ve got to really wonder what Spencer Leniu was trying to do there, shaping up,” 2012 premiership winner Hoffman said on Offsiders.
“He’s the only one who should’ve gone to the sin bin because he instigated the whole thing.
“I just wonder how good a player Spencer Leniu could be if he put all his focus and all his energy into just being a very good footballer.
“Unfortunately at the moment there is a reputation around Spencer Leniu of being a liability, just for those brain explosion moments.
“If he just focused on running the ball hard and defending well, he could be a 10-year State of Origin player.”
