Maya Jama has made her entrance into the Love Island All Stars villa as tensions reach boiling point – with a ‘messy’ twist on the horizon for the contestants.

The drama intensified following Thursday’s episode (February 12), when Islanders were summoned to the firepit for a morning recoupling. The latest additions, Harrison and Jessy, were given first pick before the women selected their preferred partners.

When the moment came, Harrison chose Belle, vowing to improve her time in the villa, whilst Jessy went for Tommy. Several pairings stayed intact, including Whitney and Yamen, Millie and Zac, and Samie and Ciaran.

After a turbulent period, Leanne officially rekindled things with Scott, whilst Helena pushed aside her reservations to remain with Carrington. Meanwhile, Sher selected Jack, though there appeared to be some hesitation lingering.

Whilst Lucinda’s decision came as no surprise, her remarks raised eyebrows: “There’s been some people in here that explored connections that hasn’t been genuine and some double standards that I’ve had to watch..”, reports OK!.

Her words sparked astonishment among fellow Islanders, with Belle questioning: “Why is this f*****g speech about me?” The fallout saw Lucinda and Belle lock horns later that afternoon. Belle stated: “I don’t want to speak to you, my issues I’ve dealt with – they’re none of your business.”

Lucinda subsequently informed Millie: “I just wanted to say one final thing at the Firepit…I just want her [Belle] to see where I come from.”

The dispute was far from resolved later that evening when Jessy confronted Lucinda at the Firepit, questioning her: “I’m a bit confused about the comments in the recoupling speech, what was going on with your mindset?”.

Lucinda responded: “I got scrutinised…the last person I thought that would do the exact same is Belle, especially not to someone like Leanne… when I do it, I get screamed and shouted at..”

Jessy observed: “You know you love to rage bait…I think that you’re a smart girl and you’re underestimated.” Lucinda countered: “I’m not here to explain the way I am..”

The confrontation escalated with additional Islanders either joining in or observing in disbelief. Jessy later remarked to Sean: “I back that you’re gonna support Lucinda no matter what but it’s not a conversation between us..”

He responded: “I don’t think it was ever your place to say anything [to Lucinda] anyway…I’m struggling to find your whole point to the conversation.”

Following this exchange, both Jessy and Lucinda became emotional, with Belle holding Sean responsible for upsetting another contestant. Just as tensions reach boiling point, ITV has unveiled a teaser for tomorrow night’s instalment, revealing Maya Jama’s dramatic return to the villa with a chaotic new twist.

She’ll be orchestrating a game designed to expose some uncomfortable truths.

Fans at home were quick to share their reactions on social media. One viewer enthused: “Wow, the producers really think they are silk, you bring in Maya just to lead a game in order to get more drama and I’m here for it! !”.

Another chimed in: “I wanted the Grafties tomorrow but I’m excited for whatever game they’re playing with Maya hosting! !”.

A third remarked: “Maya needs to give a few lashings tomorrow.” Whilst someone else speculated: “Maya coming in to the play the game just to dump someone at the end.”

Love Island All Stars continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
