A Married At First Sight bride has walked out following an uncomfortable encounter with her husband, already sparking exit fears just days in.
The American edition of the popular reality programme has kicked off Season 19, with new episodes broadcasting on weekdays at 8pm on E4. Earlier this week, audiences witnessed five new couples meeting for the very first time at the altar, as they pledged themselves to complete strangers.
So far, viewers have expressed doubts about the revamped format, which arrives shortly after a dramatic Australian series concluded, though the programme is still finding its feet as the newly-weds embark on their honeymoons.

In tonight’s episode (May 21), several couples faced mounting pressure as they encountered significant obstacles mere days into their marriages. Brittany and Will have discussed their communication difficulties, with Brittany voicing worries about her husband’s apparent lack of interest in getting to know her.
Yet Will also highlighted concerns regarding their contrasting communication approaches, which ultimately led to Brittany walking away on her own, reports OK!.
She explained: “I want to dive deep I want to have those conversations”, though Will cut across her saying: “No, you haven’t asked me any questions.”
While acknowledging she has “been trying”, Will described her questions as “vague and conspicuous” to which Brittany responded: “I didn’t realise I needed to be super specific.”
Following some heated exchanges, the couple found themselves unable to reach common ground, with Will declaring: “I don’t need you to hold my hand all the time.”
A frustrated Brittany declared: “It’s bothering me… like really. Sorry, I’m going to calm down”, to which Will responded: “Do whatever you need, it’s okay.”
Far from placating her, this reply only stoked Brittany’s irritation further as she snapped: “I’m frustrated because we’re on two separate, I won’t even say two separate pages, we’re like in different books. I need someone who can communicate.”

As she stormed off, Brittany told producers it felt like conversing with someone who simply wouldn’t engage, while Will declined to follow his wife, telling the cameras: “She left for a reason, I’ll let her leave.”
The row followed an uncomfortable encounter on their wedding night. Whether the pair can resolve their differences remains to be seen, with viewers needing to tune in on weekdays for further developments.
Social media was awash with opinions, with one viewer commenting: “This is what happens when couples have completely different communication styles.”
Another remarked: “It looks like Will and Brittany need counselling already”, while a third observed: “Omg the chats they’re having are not interesting enough for prime time TV.”
Elsewhere, Pat and Rhonda also found themselves at odds over communication, with Rhonda expressing a desire for her husband to show greater interest in her life.
Despite this friction, the couple declared their feelings for one another, with Rhonda saying: “I love the person that you are, I love your kindness and generosity, I love everything about you.” One admirer took to X to declare: “I love yous already!” while another quipped: “‘I love you.’ Already?”
