This Remington Almond Allure hair straightener is the perfect tool for creating straight, curly, and wavy hair, thanks to its five-temperature control, ranging from 150 to 230 degrees. Unlike some other models, it has been built with extra-long ceramic styling plates for more hair coverage with every pass.

According to Remington, these plates have also been coated with almond oil-enriched micro conditioners to create a soft and sleek finish. They take just 15 seconds to heat up too, so there’s no waiting around.

Elsewhere, Currys is selling the Revamp Dynamic Radiance Straight & Style ceramic ionic hair straightener in gold for £53.99, down from £120. It has five temperature settings with a digital display, and reaches a maximum temperature of 235 degrees C.

A second added: “Heats up relatively quickly, sleek design, good safety features, performs well on long hair. Lovely colour, eliminates frizziness, easy to use.”

A third chimed in: “The Remington straightener has a very good look. After a few times of using it, my hair looks like I left the professional hairdressers, and the price is very good for the quality of the job.”

Some did leave feedback on the product, with one customer commenting: “Ideal straighteners for the price, love the colour and the design of them. Heat setting on them is fab, as you can turn them up or down to what you want them at.

“They performed very well at doing the job, left my hair straight for two days, and came with a cute little bag to keep them in which is a bonus. The only downside is they do feel a bit cheaply made, but I’m happy with them.”

Another customer said: “These are cute looking, and tested on mine and my daughter’s crazy wavy hair to get a straight style, and we also used them to create a curled fringe. No scent, packaged nicely, just would like them to run smoother through the hair.”
