Everything you need to know about Leeds Abbey Dash which is taking place on Sunday November 30.
Date & Time: The 10K run takes place on Sunday, November 30. The race is scheduled to start at approximately 9:30 am.Distance and Route: The event is a 10K (6.2 mile) run. The course is a flat, out-and-back route, making it ideal for achieving a Personal Best (PB). It starts and finishes on Wellington Street in Leeds city centre and runs out to the historic Kirkstall Abbey before returning.Organiser: Run For All is organising the event for 2025, with Age UK remaining the lead partner charity.Tickets (must have been pre-purchased: The general entry starts from £33, but you must have purchased an entry ticket before today (November 30) to participateFinishers’ Reward: All participants will receive a well-earned medal at the finish line.Number Posting: Race numbers are posted out and should start arriving from Friday, November 14th. If you do not receive your number by Friday, November 28th, or if you are an overseas entrant, you must have collected it from the Race Office at the Up & Running Store, Boar Lane, Leeds by Saturday, (November 29)Race Office Collection (Race Day): Available from 7:00 am on Sunday, November 30th (check the event map for the exact location near the Start/Finish line).Wave Entry: Participants can move down to enter the starting pen of a later (slower) wave, but they will not be allowed to move up to a quicker wave.Transport: The nearest bus stops are on Boar Lane and Infirmary Street. There is also the rail option of Leeds City Train Station, nearby.Car Park: Trinity Car Park is listed as the closest option to the start/finish area. Plan your journey carefully due to closures.On-Street Parking: Parking will be suspended around the start/finish line and surrounding roads.Road Closures & Restrictions (General): Road closures and traffic regulation order suspensions will be in place between 4:00 am and 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 30th, to ensure runner safety.Parking Suspensions (Specific): Parking suspensions will be in effect from 6:00 pm on Saturday, November 29th, to 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 30th, affecting roads including Park Place, York Place, and Quebec Street.Road Reopening Schedule (Sunday, November 30th): Roads between New Road Side and Bridge Road/Kirkstall Lane are scheduled to reopen between 11:30 am and 11:45 am. Roads between Commercial Road and Kirkstall Road: Scheduled to reopen between 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm.
