Today I presented The Newsroom live on the BBC World Service for the first time. I felt so welcomed by the team, who got me behind the mic for a half hour programme even though I was only meant to be shadowing! It was fast-paced and exciting, with stories changing right up to the last minute, covering everything from Israel and Lebanon, to doctors warning breakdancers that spinning upside down could give them ‘coneheads’. Here’s a taste of what it looked like behind the scenes.
