She is searching for a new home in the UK

She has so much love to give, yet tragically nobody want to adopt her due to her disability. Little Mabel, a mixed breed, is seeking a new home in the UK following unspeakable suffering on the streets of Egypt.

The six-year-old dog was struck by a vehicle and sustained such severe injuries that her front leg required amputation, forcing her to learn how to walk on three legs. Her rescuer said: “She really is the sweetest dog you could ever meet. She absolutely loves people and makes friends instantly, greeting everyone with a gentle heart and a wagging tail. She’s wonderful with other dogs too – playful, kind and easygoing.

“She adores cuddles and is incredibly affectionate. She just wants to be close, to feel safe and to be loved. With her gentle nature and loving personality, she truly is the perfect dog for any family.”

Mabel is available for adoption through Miracle’s Mission and can be rehomed throughout the UK, assuming her prospective owner can satisfy her emotional and physical requirements.

A statement explains: “Type of home needed – A loving home happy to adopt a dog with three legs.

“Mabel is spayed and weighs approximately 23kg. She is very sweet and loving.

“She was tested with cats and was nervous but not aggressive towards them at all.”

Responding to her rehoming announcement on Facebook, one user commented: “Oh, you are a lovely, beautiful puppy. Come over here, you beautiful puppy.”

Another user added: “Just a beautiful dog. Shared with optimism. I so wish I could take her.

“Had I not got two big dogs already, I would. The fact she’s a tripaw is not a problem, but I can’t manage walking three dogs together and don’t really have time to do separate walks.”

A third animal lover wrote: “I have a rescue from Egypt – she is a total sweetheart, a bit crazy, but she is a Golden Retriever. Shared for a great home.”

Whilst one more added: “My three-legged Melek from Macedonia is the biggest joy in my life. They do adapt and get on and just want to be happy. I also bet Mabel is a fast runner. These dogs are simply incredible. Good luck, Mabel.”

Established in 2015, Miracle’s Mission has been working to “provide a place of safety for animals in danger, to educate on the need for neutering both pets and strays, and to neuter stray dogs and cats to prevent the birth of more animals onto the streets”.

Explaining the origin of the charity’s name, a statement read: “Miracle was rescued from the streets of Borneo at one week old before her tiny eyes were even open. She was found with her siblings in a very remote area, where they were likely abandoned and very unwell.

“The puppies were full of maggots, with ringworm and blood parasites. Unfortunately, Miracle’s siblings did not make it.

“Miracle was cared for and had a very long road to recovery ahead of her. She had several injuries and was very weak, but she made a miraculous recovery and is now strong, happy and healthy, living with her adopted sisters Star and Tess, who were also rescued from Borneo. Her aim is to help save many more animals in need around the world.

“Miracle is the namesake of our charity, and her story is similar to many others around the world. However, not all of these animals are as lucky as she was in finding a loving home where she is spoilt rotten.”
