Singing grandad and grandson duo Lucciano and Frankie have missed out on a place in the Britain’s Got Talent semi-final and fans are gutted

Frankie and Lucciano wowed fans with their Britain’s Got Talent audition

Britain’s Got Talent fans have been left baffled after a grandad and grandson duo from Kingswood were “missing” from tonight’s semi-final.

ITV have confirmed that The Hawkstone Farmers Choir will go up against industry-leading drone art company Celestial, sideshow and suspension duo Baron & Vesper, magician Jake Banfield, singer James Miller, schoolboy dancer Juan Carlos, Japanese comedian Mr. Cherry and rock boyband SOS in the last live semi-final of the series tonight (Saturday, May 23).

However, fans were quick to realise that Lucciano and Frankie were missing from the line-up despite getting four yeses from judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and KSI during the audition stage of the competition.

Lucciano told the celebrity panel at the time that his love for singing came from performing at care homes with his grandfather during school holidays. The youngester then surprised the audience and his grandfather by asking if he could join him on stage.

The grandad and grandson duo received a standing ovation

The pair chose to sing History by One Direction and received a standing ovation and fans have been left wondering why they won’t be performing during the semi-final.

Taking to social media, one fan penned: “I’m surprised the little boy and his grandad haven’t been chosen for the semis.” Another added: “What happened to the boy and his grandad!? Whatttt.”

A third person said: “Where is the boy and his grandad?” A fouth wondered: “Is this the last semi final? Where is that sweet boy & his grandad?”

Despite getting four yeses from the judges, the pair didn’t make it to the live semi-finals

Since missing out on a spot in the BGT semi-final line-up, Frankie and Lucciano have shared a message with their fans which has been posted on both their Instagram pages alongside a sweet picture of them on stage during their audition.

The lengthy caption read: “ANNOUNCEMENT. NO SEMI FINAL FOR LUCCIANO & GRANDAD. 4 yeses from the judges, a viral social media explosion, the whole nation routing for us and over 50 MILLION views across all social platforms.

“Unfortunately, we haven’t made it through to the semi-finals amongst such an incredible and talented group of acts on Series 19. What an AMAZING opportunity and experience to take away with me forever. Surprising my Grandad was truly magical and performing in front of Simon Cowell was a dream come true @simoncowell.
