Russia’s army continues to attack civilian facilities and residential areas in different regions of Ukraine. Over the past day, drones struck Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, and Kherson regions. Children are among the injured.
Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration head Ivan Fedorov, Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin, and the Kherson City Military Administration reported this, according to Rubryka.
Zaporizhzhia
As reported earlier, Russian forces attacked the city with drones. The attack damaged a high-rise apartment building and sparked a fire at the scene.

“Four people have already been injured in the enemy attack on one of Zaporizhzhia’s residential districts. Two men and two women sustained injuries. Doctors are monitoring all of them,” said Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
Later, Ivan Fedorov reported that the number of injured had risen to 10.
In the morning, authorities reported a further increase in the number of casualties.

“The number of people injured in yesterday’s enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia is growing. People continue to seek medical help.
As of now, we already know about 16 injured people,” Fedorov said.
A 9-year-old girl is among the injured.

All those injured are receiving the necessary medical care.
Sumy region
In Konotop, a Russian drone also hit a private residential house.
Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin said a private house caught fire in one of the city’s districts after an enemy drone struck it.

People were inside the house at the time of the attack.
Later, Semenikhin reported the first casualties:
“We currently know about three injured people. Among them is a child born in 2012.”
According to him, doctors diagnosed the child with acoustic trauma and an acute stress reaction.

Later, authorities said the number of injured had risen to five. Reports said a man, a mother, and three children born in 2012, 2017, and 2023 were injured in the Russian strike.
“All three children are in the hospital together with their mother, born in 1988, who was also injured as a result of the enemy’s strikes,’” the mayor said.
According to Semenikhin, Russian shelling left Konotop without water and with partial power outages.
Kherson
The day before, on the evening of June 4, two residents were injured in Russian drone attacks in Kherson’s Korabelnyi district.
The Kherson City Military Administration said the first attack occurred at around 10:30 p.m. A Russian drone dropped explosives, injuring a 51-year-old woman.
Doctors diagnosed her with a blast injury, a closed traumatic brain injury, acoustic trauma, and shrapnel wounds to both lower legs. They hospitalized the injured woman.
Later, authorities reported another injured person in the same district.
At around 11:50 p.m., Russian troops attacked a 39-year-old man with a drone. He sustained a blast injury, a closed traumatic brain injury, acoustic trauma, and shrapnel wounds to his right shoulder and thigh.
Doctors also took the victim to the hospital.
Dnipropetrovsk region
In addition, one person was killed, and two others were injured in Russian drone and artillery attacks on the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said Russian troops struck the district center and the Troitske community in the Pavlohrad district. The attack damaged an enterprise and private houses.
“In the Pavlohrad district, the Russians targeted the district center and the Troitske community. An enterprise and private houses were damaged. A woman was killed. A 74-year-old man was hospitalized in moderate condition. A 48-year-old man will receive outpatient treatment,” Hanzha said.
Russian forces also struck Nikopol, Synelnykove, and Samarivka districts.
The shelling damaged apartment buildings and private homes, a gas station, and cars.
Background
It should be noted that on June 4, Russian troops attacked Nova Poshta’s innovative terminal in Dnipro for the second time. Employees were in shelters at the moment of the strike and were not injured.
