86 NatWest, Lloyds, Halifax and Bank of Scotland branches are closing in June 2026. The financial institutions are closing dozens of branches throughout 2026 saying more people prefer to use online banking.
While Santander, which has Birmingham, branches, has already closed the 40 branches scheduled to go in 2026, it has four more planned closures. These closure dates have yet to be given a firm date but all will be before February 1, 2027.
NatWest will close a further 14 branches in June, following on from dozens already closed this year. Lloyds Group is also closing dozens of branches with 37 Lloyds, 25 Halifax and 10 Bank of Scotland all going next month across the UK.
